- Containers:

- Scope and content:
This folder contains letters from Clifford Prince to his wife, Irene, as he chronicles his times in San Diego and his trips to Mexico. He includes a matchbox cover from Tijuana and his ration card. He got an extra job fixing up R.R. cars and gets paid 96 cents per hour. He's glad Roosevelt won the election, even though he wasn't able to vote. He had growths removed from his nose and he could breathe much better but the doctors didn't freeze them before operating to reduce the cost and he got plates in his teeth at the dentist. He also sends a birthday card to his daughter, Norma Jean for her 5th birthday. On Thanksgiving day, the base cooked a Thanksgiving meal, including turkey. He went to Ramona's Marriage Place and he includes a pamphlet from the house.
