Kamlet Personal Materials, 1935-1960

Scope and content:

Harry Kamlet was the father of Jonas. The older Kamlet was struck by an automobile in March of 1953, dying approximately one month later. Mortimer J. Kamlet, Jonas' brother, continued with a good deal of his brother's work after the plane crash. Some of Mortimer's personal work centered on topics such as linear solvation energy relationships, solubility, and solvatochromic research. Most of the family's activities were focused in New York.

The materials in this series are in English and some are in Hebrew/Yiddish.
