- This report is based on a five day reconnaissance from October 24 to October 28, 1977, and on information obtained from State Parks people Randy Hester and Gordon Faircloth, from Helen Hood and from the report of Ken Alvarez. The report consists of a description of the major vegetation types, a listing of man's major influences and a list of plant and animal species observed during the five day visit.
