Abstract:
Shows how there is a continuing struggle between the interests of industry and the concerns for ecological balance in the region of Alaska's National Wildlife Refuge. On the industrial side is the oil industry and its highly-organized political affiliations; on the other, there is the Porcupine Caribou herd and the environmentalists. The video presents a case against oil drilling in favor of wildlife conservation.
