Adminstrative Files, 1989-1992

Scope and content:

Series V contains the adminstrative files of Michael Bass. As the Vice President of Research, Bass was the adminstrator of many aspects of the research at the Univerisity, and this series covers his range of responsibilities. The series is divided into three subseries of administration: general, fellowships and councils and committees. General files contain information regarding things such as the annual report, auditing and financial information and the search for the associate vice president of research. Fellowship files contain information regarding the many fellowships that Bass supervised, including the UCF Distinguished Researcher Award and Departmental Development Grants. The subseries councils and committees contains meeting minutes from various groups including the Patent Committee, the Research Council and the Research Foundation. This subseries also includes meeting minutes from the State University System's meetings for the vice presidents of research.
