Student Nurses Association, 1950s-2000s

Scope and content:

The Student Nurses Association (SNA) is a national organization created in 1952 to foster the professional development of student nurses. The organization sponsors several conferences and conventions each year. The group at FSU, established in 1951, is directly affiliated with the Florida Nursing Students Association and the National Student Nurses Association, and group members regularly attend events and participate in service projects. Appointed student historians keep track of the group's activities throughout the year and create scrapbooks that often include photographs, news clippings, and event ephemera.

This series contains materials generated by and about the Student Nurses Association and includes copies of photographs and yearbook pages; SNA-created scrapbooks are separated into a sub-series. Folders are arranged alphabetically in box 22 and chronologically in box 23.
