This folder contains nine letters. The Bryans splurged and bought a can of pineapple with 43 points. Janet notices a persistant pain in the vicinity of her liver and gets an x-ray taken at the base that shows nothing, later the pain goes away. There are roses everywhere in Tyler, Ray tells Janet that at camp they trample over them and dig foxholes in the midst of rose bushes. The irritable Colonel Davis has gone to a school in Georgia. Janet spends a majority of her time with preparations for the baby. She has made the train reservations for going home to have the baby in a few months though she is very reluctent to leave Ray. The ticket for the first part of the trip between Texas and New York costs 75$. After visiting the movies, Janet observes that the way that Russia is now depicted is different than before the war.
