Vincent and Leona Mazzoni letters to Josephine Gaudio, November 1944
- Containers:

- Scope and content:
This folder contains letters written by Vincent Mazzoni and Leona Mazzoni to their sister Josephine Gaudio. Vincent wrote about his plans for his money. He wished to have his money deposited into a bank account. He wrote to Josephine about how long it took for mail to arrive, and when it did - he received 5 or 6 letters at a time. He wrote a few V-Mail letters but they took even longer to arrive. So he decided not to use it anymore. He began sending his Christmas cards in November, to ensure that they're delivered in time. He used the same type of paper that the Japanese used, which shows Japanese symbols. Vincent wrote about his letter from Leona, who was stationed in Salt Lake City, Utah. Leona wrote to Josephine to check in on how everyone was doing and describe the work she was doing. Leona wrote to Josephine describing the food she ate. She wrote that she can't provide many details about where she's living though. Both Vince and Leona wrote to Josephine to check in on family life back home.
