Scope and content:

This series holds correspondence between the Office of Judaic Studies and potential guest lecturers at the Distinguished Lectruers series at UCF sponsored by the Judaic Studies Program. Many folders also contain photographs, newspaper clippings, and advertisements for the lectures. Notable visitors include Elie Wiesel, Yehuda Bauer, Aharon Appelfeld, and Israeli Ambassador to the United States, Zalman Shoval. Files are titled mostly by the name of the speaker and arranged chronologically. However, a folder of overview materials begins the series, and a folder relates to a joint program with Canadian Studies. The folder on Hannah Senesh relates to a reinactor portraying important events in her life.
