- Containers:
- Box 2, Folder 5
- Abstract:
- Folder includes correspondence, brochures, organizational history, event summaries, and art.
- Biographical / historical:
Women in Black Gulfcoast stand in silent vigil to protest war, rape as a tool of war, ethnic cleaning and human rights abuses all over the world. We are silent because mere words cannot express the tragedy that war and hatred ring. We refuse to add the cacophony of empty statements that are spoken with the best intentions.
