Officer files, 1968-2006

Scope and content:

Series I consists of the files of the officers of the UCF Women's Club. Files are divided by officer and contain the records of most presidents, one vice president, and numerous secretaries and treasurers. As individuals did not often hold a particular office for more than one year, there are many different systems of organization; however, all contain similar materials directly relating to their position within the Club. The President's papers were divided by type of document whether arranged into files or books. Both contain information regarding officers, the budget, meeting minutes and agendas, special event information, correspondence, newsletters and the yearly president's report. The files of the secretary were divided by type of document. In some years, secretaries kept materials in files labelled "reports" and in other years, they kept books much like the presidents did. Materials here include detailed meeting minutes, correspondence and attendance rolls. The treasurer's papers are the largest portion of the series and are divided by type of document. Information in these files includes finance reports, board meetings notes and UCF Federal Credit Union statements.
