The Romanov Investigations, 1992-1996

Scope and content:

Consists of Maples' correspondence regarding multiple investigations involving the Romanov remains. Includes documentation of Romanov v. Maples court case. Also includes research documents, including but not limited to: articles by other authors, reports regarding examination of skeletal remains, DNA reports and hand written notes. Also includes publications, press clippings and conference presentations as well as administration and expenses. Sub-series also includes photographs. The first part of this subseries, correspondence, is arranged alphabetically, followed by Romanov vs. Maples court documents arranged chronologically by year. Research documents are arranged alphabetically by subject. The fourth part of the subseries, press and publication, is organized chronologically, as are the administration and expenses. The last part of the subseries consists of photographs and is arranged alphabetically by subject. Oversized items are at the end of the sub-series.
