Scope and content:

The ValuJet case was a plane crash on May 11, 1996. The plane landed in the Everglades and all on board the flight were killed. Dr. Maples was called in to identify the remains of the victims. This collection consists of photographs and x-rays of victims' hands, articles written about the case, and correspondence between the editor of the Journal of Forensic Scienes and Heather Walsh-Haney, one of Dr. Maples' assistants on the case.
