Scope and content:

Series consists of correspondence regarding Maples personal and professional life. Also includes research documents, including but not limited to: articles by other authors, lecture and research notes, field notes and dissertation, tenure and promotional documents, and curriculum vitae. Also includes press, publications, and conference presentations as well as administration and expenses. Also includes photographs. The first part of the series, correspondence, is arranged alphabetically, followed by research documents, which are arranged alphabetically by subject. The third part of the series, press and publication, is organized chronologically, as are the administration and expenses. The last part of the series consists of photographs and is divided into two distinct catagories, personal and Silver Springs, both are arranged alphabetically by subject. Oversized items are at the end of the series.
