This item is a transcript of an oral history interview with Zelma Abarbanel conducted by Suzanne Scott on October 18, 2007, in Tallahassee, Florida. The transcript covers her early life, her enlistment with the WAC, primarily stationed at Ft. Benning, meeting her husband (army doctor), and leaving the service after the war.
