Audio Recordings, circa 1990.

Scope and content:

The recordings featured in the collection contain the lectures of Professor Howard W. Eves as he taught his spring semester class, History of Mathematics. The creator of this collection was one of the students attending the class. The class used the first six chapters of Professor Eves' An Introduction to the History of Mathematics as the rubric followed in recordings 1-27. Recording 28 features Professor Eves reviewing final concepts he felt the student should know and the tale of how he adopted the ethics and philosophy as a scholar.
