This folder contains discussions on the grief related to John Setser's "accident," which led to his death. There is an information booklet describing how to mail a package to the UK on October 14, 1947. Mrs. Setser outlines what it is like to experience her first holiday without her son John Setser in her January 10 letter. A Western Union Telegram is also included on the details of John's body repatriation and funeral. There is also a postcard detailing art at the Cyfarthfa Merthyr Castle School in Wales (1944).
