Miscellaneous Papers, July 24, 1943-February 15, 1944
- Containers:

- Scope and content:
This folder contains two papers. One is a receipt of a deposit to Bail's account with the National Bank of Fort Sam Houston, dated August 24, 1943 (two days before his death). It is unclear whether this deposit was from Bail to his parents, or from Bail's parents to his account. The second paper is a letter from Bail's sister recounting her visit with someone named Vincent in Miami on February 15, 1944, who she identifies as Bail's former tail-gunner. The letter is a combination of manuscript and typed, and Vincent describes two stories, one where Vincent calmed him down during a raid, and the other that seems to be with a different crew, where he was shot down over France and escaped. This letter is referenced by the caption in Folder 3.
