Virginia Huber to Roy Funk, 1946-01-22

Containers:
Box 1, Folder 26
Scope and content:

One-page letter originally handwritten and then typed on onion skin paper; Note (in red): "typed this letter and signed my name in red." Virginia writes about Roy's red-letter days, so to help she wrote this "red-letter". A large banquet was held at the high school by the Fairbury famers and Rotary Club. There were 225 men at the banquet. Virginal mentioned that she sort of had fun. She then writes that Forrest is now the V.V. Champs in basketball. The L.S.C. will be having a dance tomorrow night. She is still the chairman on the entertainment committee. She hoped to have Harry James' or Art Kassel's orchestra at the dance, but no such luck.
