One-page letter originally handwritten and then typed on onion skin paper; Virginia writes Happy Thanksgiving Day! Mentioned that she missed her first week in the office last week due to being ill. Worried that Roy might think she had forgotten him for not writing to him when she was ill. Thanksgiving dinner was quiet and all were thankful that the war is over. Two cars of Fairbury kids went to Washington to C.I.Y. Party. Party of wiener roast, dancing, and games.
