- Biographical / historical:
Crescendo is a Lesbian- and Feminist-centered chorus dedicated to social change through musical excellence. We are of varied ages, Sizes, social backgrounds, political interests, religious beliefs, and musical experience. We honor the creativity and diversity of women, and we are committed to the performance of music that inspires, educated, and unifies. Through music we seek the abolishment of all forms of oppression—including homophobia, sexism, racism, and ableism—by giving voice to the desires and dreams of all people who seek to co-exist in a world of unity and kinship.
