This folder contains several letter and documents related to the military service of William Ernest Spence including: a letter to the draft board, a response from the Selective Service System, a pay summary and related furlough documents from the War Department Office of the Division Engineer (Spence's employment prior to enlistment), induction documents, business letters, character reference from Army chaplain, special orders for schools in Paris, and Bronze Star Award orders and citation.
