This green "Continuous Service Certificate" lists all of the ships or stations attended by Leonard Ellingwood from 1936 to 1944, as well as the amount of years served at each station and the nature of his different departures . In addition, the certificate ends with the physical descriptions of Ellingwood from 1936, and his time with the USS Shaw is marked as "survivor."
