Women's Political Caucus, 1970-2001

Scope and content:

This series hold materials that were collected during Van Scoyoc's work with several Women's Political Caucuses - NWPC, FLWPC, and the MOWPC. The majority of the materials in this series are of the papers collected at the many conventions held by the NWPC and the FLWPC. The NWPC met every two years while the FLWPC met each year. It should be noted that not every convention for every year indicated can be found in this collection. Each subseries features meeting minutes of the various committees Van Scoyoc served on for each organization. Items of interest in this series include photographs of Van Scoyoc which can be found in the NWPC 1988 Steering Committee papers, newsletters for the NWPC and the FLWPC, and various versions of by laws and rosters for each organization. Buttons that were collected at the many meetings and conventions for each caucus can be found in box 3 while oversized newsletters can be found in Box 4.
