This folder contains correspondence between Albert and Laura Fuhrman from August 1943 where they discuss efforts to meet in person and Albert's impending orders to serve as an executive officer on a new submarine being built in Wisconsin. In a letter from Albert Fuhrman to Laura Fuhrman written on August 23, 1943 he describes his efforts to only drink three alcoholic beverages per day.
