- Scope and content:
Series IV holds information regarding University Relations with the community and regarding the UCF Foundation. The files are arranged in alphabetical order within three subseries. The subseries regarding Community Relations includes information about relations with community colleges, local public schools and the Shakespeare Institute. Of interest is information regarding the name change to the University of Central Florida in 1978. The subseries on the Foundation includes meeting minutes from both the FTU and UCF Foundations. Public Affairs includes documentation of newspaper articles regarding the University, as well as various University publications.

- While most of the collection is open for research, some material containing faculty administrative reviews in Box 4 are closed until review by the University archivist in 2011.
