Student Affairs, 1969-1980

Scope and content:

Series III contains correspondence, meeting minutes and procedures that deal with student affairs. The series is arranged into three subseries, Activities and Associations, Housing and Services. Files are arranged alphabetically within each subseries. Activities and Associations documents student associations at the University, including meeting minutes from the Council for Student Affairs and the Student Affairs' Committee. The Housing subseries contains documentation of the Dormitory Building Committee. The final subseries contains information on services provided to students. This includes information on Counseling and Testing, Orientation, including Peer Advisement, and Minority Student Services. Of special interest are the files regarding student grievance policy and procedure, as well as documentation of student grievances that had been directed towards administration.
