Letters from Hazel to Richard "Dick" May, April 4, 1945-Febuary 1946

Containers:
10.0050 - Box 1, Folder 015
Scope and content:

This folder contains a letter and Christmas card to Richard May, a British soldier. In her letter to him, it became clear that the two had had a romantic relationship while they were both stationed in Burma, but May fell ill and subsequently moved home and sought to end the relationship. This letter is her response to his idea of breaking up the relationship, and she expresses her love for him and willingness to wait for him to get better. Additionally, the folder contains a Christmas card sent by Bowman, which appears to have been forwarded back to her.
