- Scope and content:
Materials in the History and Operations Series of the John McKay Shaw Collection relate to the the origin and development of the collection and to the business and art of maintaining and using the collection. It is divided into the following subseries: Acquisitions, (records of holdings, including costs); Correspondence; Events (parties, exhibitions, conferences away and home); History (development of collection over the years); Operations (visitor registers, reports, other organizational activities); and Public Relations (articles, brochures, posters, advertising).
