Shaw Responses to Childhood in Poetry, 1969-1977
- Scope and content:
This subseries comprises correspondence and materials related to responses to the Childhood in Poetry Collection. The bulk of this subseries consists of letters written to Mr. Shaw by children in response to his visiting their class. Many of the students wrote original poems to include in their letters. Also included are letters from friends and associates regarding the Childhood in Poetry Collection.Items are arranged alphabetically, first by the name of the school visited, and then by the teacher's name.
