Orders authorizing FRANCIS E. RIDGWAY, 626 01 63, for the following awards: American Area Campaign medal, European African Middle Eastern Area Campaign medal w Four Stars, Asiatic Pacific Area Service Ribbon w One Star, American Defense Service medal w One Bronze Star. Campaign stars include EAME Campaign Ribbon One Bronze Star for action of Casablanca 11-8-42 , One Bronze Star for action with enemy submarine 5-17-44, One Bronze Star for bombardment and invasion of French Coast 6-25-June 1944. One Bronze Star for invasion of southern France 15-17 August 1944. One Bronze Star was awarded for APASR for invasion of OKINAWA from 24 March 1945 to 22 June 1945, and a Good Conduct medal.
