The black and white proof sheets contain images of portraits (e.g. David Mays, Bill Scott, Dr. Harry Smith, Susie Findell, Randy Fountain, Heather Pastor, Mike Carlson, Randy Lilly, Charlotte Ware, Scott Patterson, Steve Caldero, Bob Smithers among others), President Nixon's commencement address, theatre productions (Journey's End, The Miracle Worker, The Beaux' Stratagem, Thieves Carnival, Of Mice and Men), rehearsals (Kiss Me Kate, The Night Thoreau in Jail) and live performances by the rock band Dr. Hook & the Medicine Show. However, there are missing proofs including #'s 29, 32-37, 46, 88, 299, 302, 344, 372-377, 398, 425, 564-565, 574-575, 588-1-588-2, 652, and 763-780. Proof #'s 173 and 181 are complete, however 173 is a duplicate of 172 and 181 has cutouts.
