Folder includes Vaughan's personal diary from his experiences on the island of Luzon to the occupation of Japan to his discharge from the army. It describes his daily life, receiving and writing letters to his friends and family, souvenir hunting, exploring the surrounding areas, having company sports games, running gasoline and oil through pipelines, and his job as a dispatcher.
