Centers and Institutes, 1986-2004
- Scope and content:
This subseries holds information concerning centers, institutes, forums and academies. All of these entities bore some relationship to the University, but not all were solely UCF divisions. Since these relationships changed over time as the entities developed, amalgamated or declined, no attempt was made to refine the group further. The Dr. Phillips Institute reported regularly on Central Florida's economy and some of these reports may be in found here.

Access and use

- Some files are restricted. Access to UCF Facilities drawings, documents, and sensitive data is available to authorized university staff and approved consultants only, per university policy, and under lawful exception to Florida's Public Records Law. While most of the collection is open for research, some materials concerning grievances in boxes 3, 42, 71 and 79, some files in box 63 concerning the Medical School, some materials in boxes 81 and 82 relating to Student Government, information in box 39 concerning the Jenkins Chair and some materials prepared for an external organization in box 73 are closed until review by the University Archivist in 2017.
