Scope and content:

Series consists of the main railroad systems of the eastern seaboard of the United States, that are the cornerstone of Turner's research. Also includes publications, photographs, railroad administration, Turner's research and correspondence. The first part of the series, publications, is arranged by publication type and chronologically therein, followed by photographs. The third part of the series, railroad administration, is organized chronologically, as are Turner's personal research documents. Oversized items are in Box 14.
