After graduating from Hillsborough High School, Alberta Hester married and moved to Gainesville, Florida with her husband, J. R. Crane, and their two sons. Louise Hester also married, but remained in Tampa to begin a fern growing company (at the family home in Tampa Heights) with her husband Earl Davis. Louise lived at this location until her death in 1961. Frances D.
