She graduated in 1979 with her Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and went on to earn her Master of Science in Exercise Science from Purdue University in 1981. She began her career in athletic training by working at East Carolina State University, but in\n1982, she departed the school for the University of Kentucky where Albert \"Al\" Green had hired her as both an Assistant Athletic Trainer and an Instructor. She worked for the University of Kentucky for 15 years and was the first female full-time athletic trainer for football in the Southeastern Conference\n(SEC). From 1988 to 1993, Stanley-Green also worked on various assignments for the United States Olympic Committee as an athletic trainer. After years of working together as a team, she and Al Green married in 1993. The two continued to work as a team until 1997 when they both departed the\nUniversity of Kentucky. From 1998 to 1999, Stanley-Green served as the Head Athletic Trainer at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky.\nIn the fall of 1999, Sue Stanley-Green, MS, ATC was hired to serve as the Clinical Education Coordinator for the Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP) at Florida Southern College. Mr. Adams is a Florida Master Naturalist. He served in the 841st Engineer Battalion of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He has worked as a land surveyor, charter boat captain, and eco-guide in the Everglades City-Naples area of Florida. ","He has served as a member of numerous environmental and conservation organizations, which is the focus of this collection.
