In March 1943, he married Aida Marina Gonzalez. Following his military service, Mr. Vega attended the University of Tampa and later the University of Florida, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 1949. He worked as an accountant until his passing on March 19, 1960.","Aida Marina  Gonzalez  Vega was born on October 9, 1919, in Ybor City, Florida, to José G. Gonzalez and Emilia Gonzalez. She graduated from the Academy of the Holy Names in 1937 and went on to attend business school. Throughout her career, she worked as a clerk for Peninsular Telephone Company and Jim Walter Corporation. She later retired from the Hillsborough County School System. The collection illustrates the historical reality of this racial stereotype and the rarity of the nude Asian male in gay imagery in art as well as Western pornography. The gradual emergence from a near total absence from male imagery to the presently more widespread use of the Asian male nude is traced in detail. In India, Bowman also operated several social clubs India to entertain homesick American troops. After the war, Hazel worked as a laboratory technician, a freelance writer, editor, and indexer. She also worked as registrar, director of student personnel, and professor at various universities and colleges, including the University of Tampa, Townsend State, and the University of Maryland. After moving to Florida, she retired from The Vanguard School, Lake Wales. Hazel Bowman passed away in Mulberry, Florida on October 12, 2009.
