It was a growerowned fresh citrus cooperative offering members grove care, harvesting, packing services, and marketing. HCCGA began operation in 1909 in Haines City, Florida and shipped citrus fruit to markets\nin the United States and Canada under brands including Hill Top, Hill Top Gold, Red Cloud, and Canoe Creek. At one time, they supplied fruit through DNE World Citrus, Ft Pierce, Florida and processed fruit through Florida's Natural Growers, Lake Wales, Florida. At one time in its history, it was the second\noldest citrus cooperative in Florida and the fifth largest packing operation in the state.
