Pittman was also a member of the Junior League of Tampa and Miami. Pittman had two marriages, her first was in 1936 to Richard A. Mack; they had a daughter also named Susan and resided in Miami, Florida where Mr. Mack was working as a real estate developer. They also spent a few years in Washington, District of Columbia. The Mack's had close relationship with President Dwight D. Eisenhower and Vice President Richard Nixon. Her second marriage later came to 1963 to Owen W. Pittman III.
