The suit was filed in the U.S. District Court of Tampa, FL, with three law firms representing the plaintiffs. The paperwork in this collection represents the documents of attorney Thomas A. Warren, Tallahassee, Florida. The case ended with a $81.5 million dollar settlement in January, 1997, with Publix admitting no wrongdoing. Nearly 38,000 current and former employees were awarded in the suit.
